The North Suburban Legal Aid Clinic remains open for business during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Staff welcomes the opportunity to schedule individual and family phone appointments for intakes and follow-up meetings and remains steadfast in their commitment to providing confidential, accessible, high-quality, pro-bono assistance and at this time, particularly to domestic violence victims and those that wish to help them.

Illinois Domestic Violence Helpline

Domestic Violence Helpline is a one-stop access point for shelter needs. Survivors may call the Helpline directly at 1-877-TO END DV (1-877-863-6338 voice or 1-877-863-6339 TTY) and be connected to shelter through existing Domestic Violence Prevention and Intervention (DVPI) shelter services or to emergency shelter through available hotels and motels. Survivors also may contact their local domestic violence programs for shelter assistance.
